This term banner blindness appears from a 1998 .The research reveals that people almost never look at anything on the web that looks like an advertisement. Banner blindness applicable to Internet users, due to the custom established by the large amount of publicity, the user does not notice the presence of banners. The word banner blindness is website usability tests where a majority of the test subjects either deliberately or automatically ignore information that was presented in banners.
